When Harbour Town Golf Links opened in 1969, Sports Illustrated called this Pete Dye design "nothing short of a work of art". 

The majority of the TOUR players who play the MCI Heritage Classic rave about this layout, but perhaps the most telling compliment is from Jack Nicklaus, Pete Dye's consultant on this project, who said "I get angrier here than anywhere else we play".
